This site is run by Jason Abadi, an independent filmmaker in San Antonio, Texas. Here's the honest version of what this site does and doesn't do with your information.

What this site collects

Contact form. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are emailed directly to me. I use them only to reply to you. They are never sold, shared, or added to any marketing list.

Server logs. Like nearly every website, the hosting provider (DreamHost) keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and requested pages. These are used for security and troubleshooting.

That's it. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads, and uses no tracking pixels.

Third-party services

Video playback. Video thumbnails on this site are served from this site's own server. If you click play on a video, it loads YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and from that point Google's privacy policy applies to the playback. Nothing loads from Google until you click.

Newsletter. The newsletter signup links to a form hosted by Sender.net. Information you submit there is governed by Sender's privacy policy. I use your email address only to send the newsletter, and every issue includes an unsubscribe link.

Article previews. Headlines and cover images from my Substack are fetched and cached by this site's own server, so nothing loads from Substack in your browser unless you click through to read an article.

Donations. The donate button links to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches this site.

Outbound links. Links to YouTube, Patreon, Substack, Stripe, the merch store, and other platforms take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

If you'd like anything you've sent me deleted, or want to know what I have (which would only ever be emails you sent me), write to jasonabadi777@gmail.com and I'll take care of it.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
